Fried Rice

Veg Fried Rice

This is again my favourite simple and you can add scrambled eggs to it if you like 

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup long grained rice 
  2. 5 tbsp pf oil
  3. 1 tsp finely chopped green chilies
  4. 2 tsp finely chopped garlic
  5. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  6. 1 tbsp finely chopped celery
  7. 1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions
  8. 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  9. 1/4 cup parboiled french beans
  10. 1/2 cup parboiled carrots finely chopped
  11. 1/2 cup thinly sliced capsicum
  12. 1 tsp soy sauce
  13. 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Directions
1. Boil the rice so that each grain is separated. first soak the rice in cold water for 30 ins. Then drain and put in 5 cups of boiling water with salt. Let it cook till rice is soft 
2. heat the oil in a wok on high flame and add the onions, garlic, green chilies and ginger and cook for 2 minutes
3. Add the cabbage, carrots, french beans  and capsicum and mix well. Cook stirring occasionally on high heat for 3 minutes
4. Add the rice, soy sauce and salt and mix well. occasionally stir for 3 minutes
5. add the black pepper, stir and serve hot
